Paulette is the wife of Dr. Ron Phillips, pastor of Abba's House Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee where they have served for 36 years. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren--seven boys and one girl.
Paulette is a graduate of Samford University with a major in English and a minor in music. For 20 years she taught high school English and theater arts in Louisiana, Alabama and Tennessee. She has done graduate work at Trevecca Nazarene College. She is named among Who's Who Among American Teachers and has been nominated as Teacher of the Year twice (1994 and l997).
Paulette's interests and talents complement and enhance her husband's ministry. At Abba's House she is the Pastor of Adult Ministries and fulfills her passion for the education and discipleship of adults. She has written seven books. As a teacher of the Word, Paulette leads a weekly Haven Community Worship and Bible study to the women of Chattanooga.
As a conference speaker, she has shared the platform with such women of God as Anne Graham Lotz, Gloria Gaither and Karen Wheaton. She is a featured speaker at the Fresh Oil Conference, Big Event and is a prayer warrior and an encourager to women. Her life verse is Philippians 3:10 "To Know Him and the power of His resurrection,..." When time allows, Paulette enjoys swimming, golf, and traveling with her husband. Her eight grandchildren are a constant joy and babysitting is among the best of times.
