If your hand is stuck in the cookie jar, it means you’re caught. I know how easy it is to get caught. Usually I’m looking for an excuse to go after what I want, and when the lid comes crashing down on my hand, I call out to Jesus and begin to pray.
Yesterday we read Psalm 121, which tells us where to find our help when we are facing insurmountable trials and a giant battle hill to climb. Today, we will look at reasons behind the trials some of us may be facing.
Some of you may be climbing an uphill battle because of poor choices. One more drink, one more sleeping partner, one more job to pay for your gambling addiction, or the desire to get what you want when you want it.
