Hide-and-Seek

I loved the childhood game hide-and-seek. It didn’t require much skill. All I needed to do was run and hide. I made sure that I hid well so nobody would find me. If I were found, I ran to base before getting caught. Sometimes I stumbled from my dark hole or crevice in anticipation, and the other kids would already be on to the next game. I wanted to get credit for the best hiding spot, but instead I’d be tagged for the next game.

Going back to day one in the Bible, Adam and Eve hid from God when their sins were first discovered. They hid. It’s just too easy to hide. I’m not sure if you are like me, but I don’t like my sins exposed for all to see.
