I wrote this poem when I wanted to move forward in my life. I had no idea how or what I needed to do. All I knew was that I was twenty years old without a career, boyfriend, or sense of direction. I longed for the day when life would actually make sense.
“Ten years of a divine wound,” The Lord said. “It must be entire, complete Not pierced with sharp metal, But dull rock.
It must hurt and wound To break you. So when the time comes for Me To fulfill my prophetic promise to you, You will cry out, I’m NEVER GONNA GO BACK!”
