This week I’ve been using examples from Evangelism Explosion on how to share your faith in an attempt to convince you that it’s not works alone that can save us. Here is today’s illustration: When you go into a store and buy a new appliance, a manual comes with it. The manual is the guidebook to explain how the appliance should run. It also tells you how to fix certain problems that might arise. Usually there is also a 1-800 number to call if you have any questions concerning your appliance.
Human beings come with a guidebook that explains how we should live our lives. It is the Bible, Jesus’ holy Word. It explains that we are sinners.
