No matter how big or small the test, it always reveals my true colors. Do I freak out and stress about every little detail, or do I learn how to trust Jesus and stay calm? L. B. Cowman said, “The prison became a palace [for Paul], with its corridors resounding with shouts of triumphant praise and joy.”27

How in the world do I do that? There have been a few instances in my life when I have not had skin on my hands, feet, and face due to eczema. My true colors were flying all over the place. I had to be homeschooled again. Red. I didn’t get to go to prom. Orange. I didn’t have my first kiss until I was nineteen. Yellow. I think you get the point.
