Joseph stored up huge quantities of grain, like the sand of the sea; it was so much that he stopped keeping records because it was beyond measure.

God places people right where he wants them. Remember the story of Joseph? Joseph was the favored child. His jealous brothers sold him into slavery for twenty shekels of silver.
“Meanwhile, the Midianites sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, one of Pharaoh’s officials, the captain of the guard” (Genesis 37:36, emphasis added). I love the word meanwhile. It should be circled in your Bible. Meanwhile Jesus had a plan. He knew Pharaoh would have dreams and Joseph, nicknamed “The Dreamer,” would interpret them.
Jesus also knew it would be a while before this happened, so he made provisions for Joseph at the home of Potiphar. While in the home of his master, Joseph was tempted by the witch, also known as Potiphar’s wife. After she set her trap, Joseph was sent to prison.
