What does “good news” mean to you? Is it receiving a job promotion or popping the question to your fiancée? Or is good news about being forgiven? I’ve heard the word evangelism defined as “good news.”

When I think of evangelism, I typically picture a guy standing on a soapbox preaching John 3:16. I also get scared and kind of upset all at the same time because it’s those types of Christians who give a negative stereotype. They’re loud, pushy, and aggressive when it comes to spreading the message of Jesus and the gospel — and I’m not like that.
