Is This All There Is
Series: I Just Can’t Win
I’m ashamed by some of the ungrateful thoughts I’ve had. I’ve been really ungrateful at times.
But as I take a look around, right now as I type this, I see my cold glass of iced tea, my Bible, and an amazing view of the Rocky Mountains right outside my window. I am blessed.
So why do I feel such a heavy cloud of dissatisfaction at times? A dissatisfaction that whispers, ‘‘Is this all there is?’’
Can anyone relate?
In this Bible Study Series, ‘‘I Just Can’t Win,’’ I am determined to tackle the things that have us feeling so defeated in life. I fully believe that we were not created to live in defeat. Down the road from us, there is a darling preschool made of brick that looks like a fairytale castle. I imagine, inside the building, there are elaborate play-stations for the kids to explore. Finger painting, puppets, building blocks, and a modern outdoor playground probably make that preschool a very popular place for energetic toddlers.
But what would happen if a child was ushered inside the building onl ...
