The very first reaction to sin was fear. Adam and Eve had the perfect life in the Garden of Eden until they ate that stupid apple. Then God came strolling through the garden, and they hid.

Somehow this verse makes me feel more human. I don’t feel so stupid anymore. No matter how many bad things I’ve done, Jesus is still there waiting for me.

What are you hiding? Could it be your fear of inadequacy, of pleasing other people? Every person I surveyed said his or her biggest fear was being alone and not finding the right spouse.
