Good Tree, Bad Tree
A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit.

I’m a good tree who is waiting for my perfect tree-match. I know the world tells me that I have to kiss a lot of bad trees (or frogs) to meet my prince, but Jesus would disagree.
Knowledge is not found on the lips of a fool (see Proverbs 14:7). I’m not supposed to kiss every bad tree (or frog) that comes my way. It was easier when I was younger, but now that I’m almost thirty, I’m scared. I’m scared that no boy will ever resemble a good tree and that being a good tree in the midst of bad trees, I’ll somehow mess up and miss out forever.
Luke wrote, “Each tree is recognized by its own fruit” (Luke 6:44).
