Jesus is the source for everything. He became nothing so we could have everything. I’m not preaching the prosperity gospel that some people believe. Although we are rich beyond comprehension, it’s not what we may expect or imagine.

Jesus is the source of all comfort. Blessed are you who are depressed, for you will be comforted (see Matthew 5:4). Don’t fear or freak out; trust Jesus and put your faith in him (see John 14:1). The comfort we receive from Jesus we can use to encourage others (see 2 Corinthians 1:3-6).

Jesus is the source of our hope. Even if you feel there is no hope for you, there is (see Ruth 1:12). Your future as a wandering twentysomething may look confusing and hopeless, but we have hope (see 1 Chronicles 29:15-16).
