It’s amazing the kind of freedom we have in Jesus. He doesn’t interfere with our deci- sions. We have free will to choose him or not.
On June 24, 1987, I got down on my little knees and asked Jesus to be my personal Lord and Savior. At that moment I felt free, changed even. Jesus took my stony heart of sin and replaced it with a new heart to love him and others (see Ezekiel 36:26).
Twenty-some years later I am still following Jesus. The same freedom I experi- enced on that day, I still experience today.
