A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

— Deuteronomy 19:15

One witness is not enough to convict someone. Today’s verse says that a matter must be established by at least two people. That’s part of the reason I quote a twentysome- thing in every devotional. I don’t want you to take just my word for it but the words of more than three hundred people who have also been there.

What drives me to share my testimony with you and use others to back it up? Passion! Since I was young, my parents taught me about Jesus. I remember reading the Bible at age four. At age five, I put my faith in Jesus. When I was seven, my parents moved us from Lincoln, Nebraska, to Oceanside, California, because they became full-time missionaries. I hated moving because I missed my best friend Laura, who lived two houses down and was born two days before me.
