Sometimes we hold things in. I know I’m guilty of that. It starts out as something small, like believing a lie, but if we don’t address it right away, the anger, bitterness, strife, slander, gossip, hate — you get the point — strangles us and forces us to surrender.
This is unconfessed sin. An example of unconfessed sin in the Bible is found in Psalm 32:3-5. David shared what sin tastes like when left inside our bodies:
