Have you ever met a woman who complains about everything? I’ll bet if you meet her significant other, she is the one “wearing the pants” in the relationship. The story of Samson and Delilah is just that. Here we see Samson as the “perfect” man. He was handsome, muscular, with long hair, and a weakness for foreign women (see Judges 14:6-7). Sounds like a scene from a movie!

When Samson met Delilah, he fell in love (see Judges 16:4). She became his life. He was living in enemy territory at the time, and once it became known that Samson loved Delilah, the Philistines convinced her (stupid woman) to find out the secret to Samson’s strength.

This is a spoiler: Listen up. Not every woman nags. Samson may have been the most handsome and strong man in town, but the reason he was that way was because of the Spirit of Jesus. He choose the wrong woman, and he paid the price. Death.
