When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up — one on one side, one on the other — so that his hands remained steady till sunset.

Moses had to keep his hands raised to heaven during a battle in order for the Israelites to win. Jesus had commanded Moses to do this. Hours later when Moses’ hand got tired and he couldn’t lift them up anymore, Aaron and Hur helped him keep his hands up. Some battles are fought and won standing still, some through blood and tears, and others by raising hands to heaven.
