Most twentysomethings I know want to be better people. We want to know our pur- pose, that what we long for will one day be fulfilled in the area of relationships, career, or finances. But what exactly does new life in Jesus mean?
I’ll tell you what it doesn’t mean: perfection. Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick” (Matthew 9:12). As a literal “sick” person, I spent most of my life going from doctor to doctor asking for help.
